While we’ve really thought a lot about making
Shutterfly Gallery as easy and intuitive as possible, sometimes some step by step instructions can make all the difference in getting you over the initial “what do I do first?” hump! Let me direct you to a great little area in Shutterfly Galley that provides just that. In all of the “Showcase your Creativity” areas (upper right of the homepage), there is a link called
step by step – click on this link and you will land on an area with some clear, easy to follow steps to get comfortable and get started in gallery..from posting a book to setting up a profile to making your first comment, we walk you thru what to do, complete with text and screen shots so that you can quickly roll up your sleeves and get involved!

I find the step-by-step guide very informative and easy to follow for new ‘photo bookers’. Friends and family who have seen the photo books we’ve created over the years are often inspired to produce their own, but because the books look so professional, they are often intimidated, thinking they need to be IT specialists in order to produce a photo book. Simply to true! Leading them to this step-by-step guide is the best way for them to begin. Everyone who has any photos they want to use, can easily navigate the site and produce a gorgeous photo book. It is very simple to follow and no one needs tertiary computer science degrees to work the site! What a great addition to the site!
