Dane Howard has been telling stories with pictures his whole life. As a designer and director of the creative process, he is constantly trying to improve people’s means of expressing themselves through media. Recently, he co-founded VUVOX as a way to help people extend the uses of their digital photos and videos. Dane has also used his experience to help develop products and creative strategies for Microsoft, BMW, Major League Baseball, NBC Olympics, and Disney. As a father, Dane uses his background in media creation and design to share the stories of his own experiences and family adventures. He maintains a personal project to document the events of his family. The interest in the project (
www.chloehoward.com) spawned a book to tell others how to document and share life’s events: The Future of Memories . Dane is also an accomplished oil painter and is fortunate to exhibit his paintings in New York, California, and Washington. When he is not in the studio, or capturing special moments with wife and three kids, he seeks out existing and evolving technologies that will shape the future of digital photography and self-publishing for the mass market. You can visit him on the web at
