Our most valuable possessions

by Rachel-B | Posted in Stories we like

brandy.jpgIn her description, ‘ BrandyO3‘ tells us she created her photo book using the few photos that remained after a tragic event. The time and care BrandyO3 puts into ‘ A look back for mom’s birthday’ shines through.

Did you notice the sepia tone she gave to each photo? How about the thoughtful accompanying text? And what do you think of the gray textured background? In my opinion (which is purely subjective of course) it works well, giving the book extra historical weight and significance (you can find similar backgrounds in the “pages” section when you make your own photo books).

One more thing. Reading through BrandyO3’s work reminds me of how important keepsakes are to all of us - like photos, or journals. They are what help us remember our lives and the people we love.

I couldn’t agree more with what you said about Brandy’s book. It truly is priceless. Makes me realize how important creating these books are, to preserve those precious memories.

I, too, loved the background and sepia tones. I bet her mom just cried when she saw it.
