A graphic designer for over twenty years, Carol has designed for Mademoiselle Magazine, Yankee Magazine, Pizzeria Uno and The Late Show with David Letterman. She is the owner of www.abramdesign.com, a full service advertising and graphic design studio.

Carol has been enthralled with digital scrapbooking since she became involved and founded www.scraphead.com which features her designs in addition to new and emerging artists.

In this inspiring article, Carol tells how she fell in love with photography at the age of 12, and how summer is her absolute favorite season. She also shares some great advice on creating summer photo books - focus on what summer means to you.

growwhereyoureplanted.jpgLisaH26’s “Calvert Street Mural” tells the story of a community art project at Calvert Street Elementary School. We get to meet the artists, see how they sketch out each drawing before the over 200 painters (teachers, students, parents and community members), and then enjoy the finished project. In addition to the photos, we learn about the reaction of the school and community to the effort.
